Videology SCAiLX-SOM-AI SCAiLX SoM Board for Edge Vision AI
The Videology SCAiLX-SOM-AI is a NDAA compliant, compact 42x42 mm System-on-Module at the core of the SCAiLX Modular Edge AI Vision Platform, combining an NXP i.MX8M Plus quad-core processor with a 2.3 TOPS NPU for high-performance edge vision and AI workloads. It offers dual MIPI-CSI inputs, hardware H.264/H.265 encoding/decoding, rich I/O, and broad LVDS/MIPI camera compatibility, and made in the USA, making it an ideal choice for industrial vision, robotics, and smart surveillance applications requiring modular scalability and long-term reliability. Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, the SCAiLX-SOM-AI delivers trusted performance for critical edge AI applications.
The SCAiLX-SOM-AI is engineered to interface seamlessly with SCAiLX add-on boards such as SCAILX-LVDS-2-MIPI for LVDS block cameras, SCAILX-ETH-POE and SCAILX-ETH-DC for Ethernet and power options, SCAILX-USB for USB 3.0 and UVC devices, and SCAILX-ACC26 for Hailo-8 acceleration up to 26 TOPS. This modular ecosystem approach lets engineers rapidly configure tailored edge AI vision solutions by mixing and matching camera, I/O, networking, and AI accelerator boards without redesigning the core compute module.
