The Aegis H.264-RM-NEO Red Mamba Neo IP Video Encoding Module is a compact, high-performance solution designed for embedded vision systems, powered by the NXP i.MX6 Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A9 processor running at up to 800 MHz. It supports H.264 video encoding in Baseline, Main, and High Profiles up to 1080p60, making it ideal for high-quality video compression and streaming. The module offers flexible video input options, including LVDS, MIPI, and an add-on connector, and provides HDMI 1.4a output (up to 1920 x 1080). It is fully compatible with Sony FCB-EV9520L, FCB-EV9500L, and Tamron MP3010M-EV HD Block Cameras, ensuring seamless integration with these camera models. The module supports streaming protocols such as RTSP, RTP multicast, and RTP MPEG2TS for efficient video transmission over Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n + MIMO or 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet.

With up to 1GB LPDDR2 RAM and 64GB eMMC storage, the Red Mamba Neo offers robust performance and storage for local recording and video archiving. It supports RS485 (VISCA/PELCO), 2 UART interfaces, and up to 8 GPIO pins for flexible connectivity with external devices. Powered by Yocto Linux, it operates in temperatures from 0°C to 60°C and is supplied via 6 to 12 VDC. Its small form factor (50 mm x 57 mm x 15 mm) and low-latency performance make it suitable for a range of applications, including real-time surveillance, live streaming, and industrial video monitoring.
