The Omron Sentech STC-MB83USB is an ultra-compact XGA monochrome machine vision camera designed for industrial imaging, automation, and inspection systems. Built around the Sony ICX204AL progressive scan CCD sensor, this 0.8 megapixel USB 2.0 camera delivers reliable image capture at up to 30 fps with excellent sensitivity and low noise.
With hardware and software triggering, partial scanning, and CS-mount lens compatibility, the STC-MB83USB is ideal for machine vision, laboratory imaging, robotics, and OEM embedded vision systems.
This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer, but it remains in demand for legacy machine vision systems and replacement installations.
The STC-MB83USB monochrome USB camera from Omron Sentech is a compact industrial camera engineered for high-precision machine vision and scientific imaging applications. Featuring the Sony ICX204AL 1/3” progressive scan CCD sensor, the camera delivers XGA resolution (1024 × 768) with excellent sensitivity and stable image capture.
This camera supports multiple scanning modes, including full scanning, partial scanning, and binning, enabling high frame rates up to 120 fps in partial scan modes. With its USB 2.0 high-speed interface, the camera offers easy integration into industrial PCs and embedded vision systems without requiring frame grabbers.
