The Aegis 4K-6GSDI-SYNC External Sync Interface Board is designed to integrate seamlessly with Sony FCB-ER9500 & FCB-ER8530 4K Block Cameras, providing a robust solution for applications requiring high-definition video capture and synchronization. This interface board supports 6G-SDI (SMPTE ST-2081) digital video output, capable of delivering up to 2160p resolution at frame rates of up to 29.97Hz. It facilitates advanced video functions, including support for 4K resolution (up to 2160p25/29.97Hz), and offers a range of customization through its DIP switch configuration for video format settings. The interface board operates with a wide input voltage range of 6-12VDC, drawing 6W of power, which includes the camera's power requirements. Built for a wide operating temperature range from 0°C to 60°C, this board is suitable for industrial and outdoor applications. It is compliant with EMC FCC part 15 regulations, and its PCB is UL 94 V0 rated for flame resistance, ensuring both reliability and safety in various environments.

The Aegis interface board supports external synchronization with a Molex connector for sync input, and optional external sync output, offering flexibility in synchronized video setups. The RS232 or TTL-level VISCA communication interface allows for control and configuration of both the board and the connected camera, making it ideal for integration into professional surveillance, robotics, or live broadcast systems.
