Z3 Technology CIB-FT2-02 FLIR® Tau®2 Digital LVDS Output Board
The Z3 Technology CIB-FT2-02 is a Made in the USA and NDAA compliant camera interface board engineered to enable digital or analog video input from FLIR® Tau®2 thermal cameras. Designed for thermal inspection, surveillance, UAV, and industrial imaging applications, the CIB-FT2-02 delivers both digital LVDS and analog NTSC/PAL video output directly from the Tau®2 camera.
Fully compatible with Z3’s dual camera video encoder solutions—including the FV4K-DCK-1x, FV2K-DCK-1x, and FSDI-DCK-1x/2x—the CIB-FT2-02 simplifies integration and ensures seamless video streaming. The FlexIO™ connector system provides a streamlined single connection for power, video, and control, enabling fast and reliable communication between the camera and encoder.
When paired with Z3’s H.265/H.264 encoder boards, the CIB-FT2-02 creates a complete plug‑and‑play solution for capturing, encoding, storing, and streaming high‑quality infrared video in critical applications requiring secure, U.S.-made, NDAA‑compliant components.
The onboard USB 2.0 interface provides direct power and access to camera configuration tools. Connecting the board to a PC allows offline configuration using the standard FLIR® Tau®2 software utility.
Built and supported in the United States, the Z3 Technology CIBFT202 ensures long‑term reliability, compliance with NDAA Section 889 regulations, and dependable performance for government, defense, and industrial imaging systems.
