The Z3 Technology CIB-EX22 is a compact camera interface board designed to attach directly to the back of the EXOSENS MicroCube XP camera body. Built for streamlined integration with Z3 Technology video encoders, the CIB-EX22 provides LVDS digital video output through a single 30-pin KEL cable connection, enabling developers and system integrators to connect the MicroCube XP into low-latency IP video streaming systems.

With direct mechanical compatibility for the EXOSENS MicroCube XP, the CIB-EX22 helps simplify camera-to-encoder integration for thermal imaging, defense video, inspection, security, surveillance, and unmanned system applications. The board supports digital video, power, and bidirectional camera control through a single KEL connection when paired with compatible Z3 single or dual camera encoders.

When integrated with Z3 Technology add-on video encoders, the CIB-EX22 helps create a complete IP camera solution with support for H.265, H.264, and MJPEG video streaming. Z3 encoders provide flexible camera and stream control through an API, web GUI, or serial interface, making the CIB-EX22 a strong choice for OEM developers building compact, low-power, and ultra-low-latency video systems.

Optional Z3 Encoder Integration

The CIB-EX22 connects the EXOSENS MicroCube XP camera to Z3 single or dual camera video encoders using a 30-pin KEL cable connection. This allows LVDS digital video, power, and bidirectional control signals to pass between the camera and encoder system. Compatible encoder options include Z3 single camera encoder models such as the Q603 and dual camera encoder platforms such as the FV2K, FV4K, and FSDI.

For dual-camera applications, the CIB-EX22 can be used as part of an IR and visible imaging system by pairing the EXOSENS MicroCube XP thermal camera with a visible camera input through compatible Z3 encoder options. These configurations can support visible SDI, LVDS, or HDMI cameras ranging from SD video up to 4K Ultra HD, depending on the selected encoder and system design.
