Z3 Technology CamL2-13 Dual-Camera Video Encoder Board – H.265/H.264, Camera Link & LVDS Input, PoE, GigE, 1080p60, SRT, STANAG 4609, Low Latency
The Z3 Technology CamL2-13 is a high-performance dual-camera video encoder Made in the USA and fully NDAA compliant, purpose-built for advanced imaging, surveillance, and defense applications. Designed to deliver high-quality, low-latency video streaming, the CamL2-13 supports Camera Link Base input through an SDR connector (up to 85 MHz pixel clock) for monochrome, RGB, and YUV formats (8–16 bit), as well as a KEL LVDS interface for thermal or visible cameras. Composite inputs are also supported for legacy video sources.
The encoder handles full HD 1080p at up to 60 fps, 720p at 60 fps, and standard definition (NTSC/PAL, VGA, CIF, QVGA) using H.265 (HEVC), H.264 (AVC), and MJPEG codecs. Output protocols include RTP, RTSP, MPEG-2 TS, RTMP/RTMPS, TSRTP, and SRT, ensuring seamless integration with defense, unmanned, and industrial video networks.
The CamL2-13 provides robust connectivity and control interfaces, including Gigabit Ethernet, PoE (802.3af/at), USB 2.0, Micro-HDMI, and RS-232/422/485. With audio I/O, SNMPv2/v3 network management, user authentication, and AES-128/192/256 encrypted SRT streaming, it delivers advanced cybersecurity and network reliability. Compliance with STANAG 4609 and MISB 0601/0604 standards, along with support for embedded KLV metadata and timestamp synchronization, enhances mission-critical performance in ISR and edge AI systems.
Compact and power-efficient, the CamL213 measures just 75 × 50 mm with a typical 4.5 W power draw, making it ideal for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), airborne surveillance, ground-based video analytics, and other edge computing imaging platforms requiring secure, NDAA-compliant U.S.-manufactured video processing hardware.
