Ximea MC124MG-SY 12.3MP Monochrome USB3 Industrial Camera with Sony IMX253 CMOS Global Shutter Sensor, 30 FPS, 26.4 x 26.4 x 42 mm
The Ximea MC124MG-SY is a high-performance USB3 industrial camera built around the 12.3 MP SONY IMX253 Pregius™ CMOS sensor. Delivering a resolution of 4112 x 3008 with sharp monochrome imaging, the camera captures images at 30 FPS using a global shutter for distortion-free results in high-speed applications. The sensor features a 1.1” optical format, 3.45 µm pixel size, and supports 8, 10, or 12-bit RAW image output. With a dynamic range of 71 dB, peak quantum efficiency of 66%, and low readout noise at just 2.4 e-, it delivers excellent image fidelity and low-light performance.
The MC124MGSY utilizes a USB 3.1 interface with 5 Gbit/s data rates via a Micro-B connector, offering 4x faster performance than GigE. Compact and lightweight at just 26.4 x 26.4 x 42.0 mm and 37.5 g, it supports natural convection cooling and 3-in/3-out GPIOs for precise control and integration. Additional features include on-chip decimation/downsampling, ROI readout, 1 µs to 30 s exposure control, and broad compatibility with Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms. Ideal for machine vision, robotics, VR/AR, scientific imaging, and portable embedded systems.
