Quick Overview
Ximea MC050YG-SY-UB is a 5MP color USB3 industrial camera with Sony IMX250 Polarized CMOS sensor, global shutter, 76 FPS, C-Mount, 26.4 x 26.4 x 41.9 mm housing, and 3-in/3-out GPIO for high-speed machine vision, AR/VR, and scientific imaging.

The Ximea MC050YG-SY-UB is a compact industrial camera equipped with a high-performance 5 MP Sony IMX250 Polarized CMOS sensor. Engineered with Pregius™ global shutter technology, it captures detailed, motion-artifact-free images at a full resolution of 2464 x 2056 pixels and frame rates up to 76 FPS. The 3.45 µm pixel size ensures excellent light sensitivity and imaging precision across a wide spectral range of 400–1000 nm. With 8, 10, and 12-bit RAW pixel output, this model is optimized for accurate color reproduction and fine detail in dynamic imaging environments.

Designed for high-speed USB 3.0 data transfer at up to 5 Gbit/s, the MC050YGSYUB features a standard C-mount, robust 26.4 x 26.4 mm housing, and low power consumption of 3.1 W with natural convection cooling. It includes configurable GPIOs (3 in / 3 out), hardware/software triggering, ROI support, and onboard hot pixel correction for up to 5000 points. With flexible image processing tools such as de-Bayering, LUTs, auto exposure, and shading correction, it’s ideal for applications in machine vision, quality inspection, medical imaging, AR/VR capture, aerial mapping, and high-speed scientific research.
