The PL-D72 model of cameras are based on a 2 ON Semiconductor global shutter CMOS sensor with a ” 2/3 optical format. The extensive built-in image processing possibilities (image pre-processing) result in outstanding image quality, less load on the system and higher performance.

The PixeLINK PL-D722 Series USB 3.0 machine vision cameras combine the speed of modern CMOS global shutter sensors with the high-bandwidth performance of USB 3.0 connectivity. Built around the ON Semiconductor VITA 2000 sensor, the PL-D722 delivers 1920 × 1200 resolution with frame rates up to 92 fps, making it ideal for high-speed industrial imaging and precision inspection tasks.
These cameras provide exceptional image quality with low noise, high dynamic range, and accurate color reproduction, enabling reliable results across demanding machine vision and scientific imaging environments. The global shutter architecture eliminates motion distortion, ensuring accurate image capture for moving objects.
The PL-D722 series also supports VariOptic liquid lens autofocus options, allowing rapid electronic focus adjustment without mechanical movement.
