The Lumenera/Teledyne LT-C3840B is a compact, high-performance USB3 board-level camera designed for embedded vision systems requiring exceptional image quality and minimal footprint. Featuring the Sony IMX334 8.2 MP CMOS sensor (3840 x 2160 resolution), the LT-C3840B captures sharp, detailed images even under low-light and high dynamic range conditions.

Engineered for demanding applications such as UAVs, mobile devices, and handheld systems, this camera utilizes a rolling shutter with global reset, 2.0 µm pixel size, and supports frame rates up to 44 FPS. With a 1/1.8" optical format, it provides superior imaging in space-restricted designs.

Designed with integration in mind, the LT-C3840B features side or top/bottom connectors, a flat-back mechanical layout, and low mass (28 g), ensuring streamlined system design. It includes USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) data interface, 8 MB flash memory, 128 MB image buffer, and manual/auto gain (1x to 3317x) and white balance control.

Image processing capabilities include gamma correction, lookup tables, auto white balance, brightness/contrast adjustments, and ROI support for flexible acquisition. The camera supports hardware, software, and free-run triggers, 12 µs to 30 s exposure range, and optical filter-free color capture.

Housed in a minimal 40.4 mm x 40.4 mm x 17.1 mm board-level footprint, the LT-C3840B operates efficiently in temperatures from 0°C to 50°C, with storage tolerances down to -30°C.
