The Lumenera/Teledyne INFINITY8-9C is a high-performance 8.9-megapixel color microscopy camera, engineered for demanding imaging applications including fluorescence, brightfield, darkfield, and DIC. Equipped with the Sony® Pregius™ IMX267 global shutter CMOS sensor, this camera delivers true-to-life color fidelity and sharp, high-resolution images at 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 31 fps, or HD (1920 x 1080) at 62 fps using the full 1" sensor.
Designed for seamless integration with C-mount microscopes, the INFINITY8-9C features a heat-dissipating housing to minimize noise without requiring cooling fans. It includes a 128 MB image buffer, supports manual/auto gain and exposure, and offers flexible acquisition modes such as timelapse, video, and fluorescence capture.
Connectivity is handled via a USB 3.0 Micro-B port (locking supported), ensuring high-speed data throughput up to 5.0 Gbps. The camera consumes a low 2.3 W to 3.6 W and supports power via USB or GPIO (5–25V).
Bundled with INFINITY ANALYZE 7 software, it offers multi-user, multi-PC licensing, real-time image processing, measurement, focus stacking, and tiling. Compatible with Windows 7/8.1/10 (32/64-bit) and macOS 10.15.7+. Also supports third-party software like Image-Pro® and Micro-Manager.
