The Lumenera/Teledyne INFINITY8-2M (Model: I8-LM00-02M) is a high-sensitivity monochrome microscopy camera engineered for demanding low-light fluorescence applications. Featuring a Sony IMX432 1.1" CMOS global shutter sensor, this 1.7 MP camera (1608 x 1104 resolution) offers large 9 μm pixels and 96 fps at full resolution for ultra-fast, high-fidelity imaging. Ideal for fluorescence, brightfield, darkfield, DIC, and live cell imaging, it leverages a heat-dissipating design to suppress sensor noise without the need for active cooling.

Designed for performance and ease-of-use, the INFINITY8-2M features USB 3.0 Micro-B with locking connector, 128 MB image buffer, and supports 8-bit and 12-bit ADC outputs. FLIC (Fluorescence Illumination Capture) mode enhances responsivity and reduces temporal noise, achieving read noise as low as 4.4 e⁻ (HCG mode) and saturation capacity up to 100,400 e⁻.

The robust build (108 g, 41.5 mm x 45 mm x 45 mm) fits standard C-mounts and operates from 0 to 50°C, 5–95% RH. Supplied with INFINITY ANALYZE software (Windows/macOS), no recurring license fees, and a 3-meter USB 3.0 cable. Supports integration with Image-Pro®, MicroManager, and other third-party platforms.
