The Kowa LM5NS21 is a high-precision 5mm fixed focal length lens engineered for 1/1.8" (9mm) sensors with 2MP resolution and 2.5µm pixel pitch. Built on the NS series platform, this compact S-mount lens features a fixed F2.1 aperture and is optimized for compact imaging applications requiring high resolution and minimal distortion. The lens delivers exceptional center resolution up to 200 lp/mm with edge resolution at 100 lp/mm and a horizontal field of view of 72.4mm at minimum object distance.

Designed for rugged and lightweight use, the LM5NS21 is ideal for UAVs, drones, and automotive systems. It supports a manual focus range from 0.1m to infinity and operates across a wide temperature range of -10°C to +50°C. The optical design is housed in a compact Ø21.5 x 29.9mm barrel weighing just 12g. Optional IR cut filters, shock resistance (glued elements), and custom aperture tuning are available upon request.
