The Kowa LM50EC-IR is a high-resolution 50mm fixed focal length lens engineered for 1.2" format sensors with support for up to 24 megapixels and pixel sizes as small as 2.5µm. It is IR-corrected across a broad wavelength range from 400nm to 1000nm, delivering stable focus and sharp imaging from visible light through near-infrared. Ideal for precision imaging systems, the LM50EC-IR is built for industrial and outdoor use, including traffic surveillance, license plate recognition, machine vision, and mapping applications.

This C-Mount lens features a lightweight Ø33 x 50.8mm housing and a manual focus mechanism with a working range from 0.5m to infinity. The optical design ensures edge-to-edge clarity, with a center resolution of 200 lp/mm and 125 lp/mm at the margins. Interchangeable fixed apertures from F2.4 to F8 provide adaptable light control. With ultra-low distortion (0.02%), a 147mm horizontal field of view at close range, and an operating temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, the LM50EC-IR is optimized for high-speed image capture and integration into 24MP+ vision systems operating across variable lighting conditions.
