The Kowa LM16EC-IR is a high-resolution 16mm fixed focal length lens optimized for large-format sensors up to 1.2" (19.2mm diameter) and 24MP resolution. Designed for precision imaging systems, this C-Mount lens supports pixel sizes down to 2.5µm and achieves a center resolution of 200 lp/mm, ensuring sharp detail in demanding machine vision, geo-mapping, and ITS (Intelligent Traffic Systems) applications. It offers consistent performance across a wide temperature range (-10°C to +50°C), with minimal distortion (-0.60%) and reliable manual focus operation from 0.5 meters to infinity.

With IR correction from 400nm to 1,000nm, the LM16EC-IR delivers high-contrast images in both visible and NIR spectrums, making it ideal for day/night surveillance and license plate recognition. Interchangeable aperture plates allow for fixed aperture control (f/2.4 to f/8), providing flexibility in depth-of-field and light conditions. The lens is compact (Ø36 x 64.3mm), lightweight (95g), and built for rugged environments, with high transmission optics and a 19.57mm back focus distance for seamless integration into high-performance vision systems.
