The IPX NMG-1242M4X-W is a versatile 12MP global shutter IP camera module featuring a 2.7-13.5mm motorized lens for applications that need both wide-area coverage and adjustable zoom capability. Its compact 42x42mm double-board design makes it a strong option for embedded AI vision, UAV/drone systems, robotics, machine vision inspection, intelligent traffic monitoring, and compact surveillance designs.

Using a Sony 1/1.1” 12MP global shutter CMOS sensor, the NMG-1242M4X-W captures high-resolution imagery while helping reduce motion-related distortion. The module is powered by a 64-bit Quad Core RISC-V SoC running embedded Linux and supports H.265, H.264, and MJPEG video up to 3840x2160 at 30fps.

The integrated NPU supports MobileNet V2 + SSDLite and YOLO7 object detection, enabling AI-based analytics directly on the camera platform. With advanced image controls including WDR, HLC, BLC, 2DNR, 3DNR, sharpness, brightness, and contrast, this module is designed for challenging lighting environments and real-world embedded vision applications.
