The IPX NMG-1242B28-W is a compact 12MP global shutter IP camera module designed for embedded vision systems that require high-resolution imaging, low-distortion capture, onboard video processing, and intelligent object detection. Built around a Sony 1/1.1” 12MP global shutter CMOS sensor, this 42x42mm double-board module is well suited for robotics, UAV/drone imaging, smart surveillance, AI edge vision, machine vision inspection, medical imaging, traffic monitoring, and industrial automation.

With a 2.8mm fixed lens, the NMG-1242B28-W is ideal for wider field-of-view applications where situational awareness and full-scene coverage are important. The onboard 64-bit Quad Core RISC-V processor runs embedded Linux and supports H.265, H.264, and MJPEG video up to 3840x2160 at 30fps. Integrated NPU support for MobileNet V2 + SSDLite and YOLO7 object detection enables AI-based detection workflows directly at the camera module level.

This module also includes advanced imaging controls such as WDR, HLC, BLC, 2D/3D noise reduction, sharpness, brightness, and contrast adjustment, making it a strong fit for changing lighting conditions, outdoor vision systems, and high-detail inspection environments.
