Just when you thought Sony could not be any better in the Pan/Tilt/Zoom (P/T/Z) camera arena, the introduction of the high-definition, P/T/Z BRC-Z330 color video camera comes along!
Incorporating a relatively low-power-consumption 1/3-type 2-megapixel CMOS image sensor, and high quality picture performance, today’s growing demand for full HD images is realized. The wide pan/tilt ranges and smooth pan/tilt/zoom capability make this camera a perfect solution for use in houses of worship, auditoriums, educational facilities, conferences and concerts. Still utilizing the camera’s wide pan/tilt ranges and capabilities, it the perfect choice for corporate boardrooms, city council meetings, the broadcast industry, and, when pre-installed, is perfect for capturing peaceful and tranquil weddings beautifully. By incorporating an 18x optical zoom lens (72x with digital zoom), the BRC-Z330 enables users to zoom in on small or distant objects with a high degree of accuracy. The use of a 4x digital zoom in combination with this optical zoom greatly improves the camera’s zooming capability – enabling one to capture accurate physical movements and natural facial expressions of people located far away. Providing the consumer with installation choices, the BRC-Z330’s "Image Flip" function allows the camera to be mounted on a ceiling (using the supplied ceiling mount kit), or placed on a flat surface to compliment the user's installation and space requirements. The BRC-Z330 simultaneously delivers stunning HD images (1080i or 720p) and SD images. This dual-output capability allows the camera to be integrated into both HD and SD systems, necessary for users who are intending to migrate into a complete HD system.
