The Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP/SDI HD is a dual-channel capture and playback card designed for seamless integration into SMPTE 2110 IP and 3G-SDI broadcast infrastructures. It supports 10-bit uncompressed video, delivering broadcast-quality capture/playback with YUV 4:2:2 color sampling, ensuring pixel-perfect output. With support for 720p, 1080i, and 1080p formats, the card can handle up to 60 fps for smooth, high-quality video playback and capture. Featuring a 10G Ethernet interface, it is built for low-latency, high-bandwidth SMPTE 2110-20 uncompressed video transport, ideal for real-time broadcast environments. The card’s 4-lane PCIe interface allows for fast data throughput, while PTP (Precision Time Protocol) ensures tight synchronization of video, audio, and ancillary data across all IP devices.
The DeckLink IP/SDI HD provides flexible connectivity, including both RJ45 Ethernet for 2110 IP workflows and 3G-SDI I/O, making it perfect for hybrid broadcast systems. With full compliance to the SMPTE 2110 standard, it supports SMPTE 2110-21 (traffic shaping/timing), SMPTE 2110-30 (audio), and SMPTE 2110-40 (ancillary data), enabling seamless integration in complex live broadcast, post-production, and streaming environments. Additionally, the card features a built-in video firewall for security, isolating video traffic from unauthorized data sources.
