The AXIS Q1656-LE delivers superior 4MP video at up to 60 fps, powered by a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor and Axis' ARTPEC-8 SoC with built-in deep learning processing. It excels in low-light conditions with Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR, capturing color down to 0.05 lux and monochrome to 0.01 lux. The integrated IR white LED ensures performance in total darkness, and its motorized 3.9–10 mm CS-mount lens supports remote zoom and focus. The camera also features EIS, local storage, and Zipstream with support for H.264 and H.265 compression.
Built for harsh environments, the Q1656-LE is housed in an IK10-rated casing (IK08 for front window) with IP66/IP67 and NEMA 4X/TS2 certifications, and withstands winds up to 60 m/s. Operating from -40 °C to 60 °C, it includes a built-in wiper for rain/snow, redundant power (PoE Class 4 and DC 10–28V), and surge protection. Embedded cybersecurity includes signed firmware, secure boot, and secure keystore with CC EAL6+ certified Secure Element. It also supports AXIS Object Analytics and ACAP 4.0 for scalable, edge-based AI.
