The Aegis SD-SDI-SIM-EH-EV is a compact HD-SDI interface board designed for Sony FCB-EH and FCB-EV series HD block cameras. The board converts the camera’s LVDS video output into broadcast-quality HD-SDI while also providing NTSC or PAL composite video output for legacy monitoring systems.
Engineered with FPGA-based video processing, the board performs LVDS decoding, SDI serialization, and analog scaling, allowing seamless integration of Sony HD block cameras into SDI broadcast, surveillance, robotics, and machine vision systems.
The Aegis SD-SDI-SIM-EH-EV HD-SDI Interface Board enables professional video integration for Sony FCB-EH and Sony FCB-EV HD camera blocks by converting LVDS camera output into SMPTE 424M compliant HD-SDI video.
This interface module supports 1080p and 1080i video formats and simultaneously generates a scaled composite NTSC or PAL output, providing compatibility with both modern HD-SDI equipment and legacy analog video systems.
The board uses FPGA processing for LVDS decoding, signal scaling, and SDI serialization, ensuring stable and high-quality video transmission. Integrated VISCA control support allows camera configuration through RS-232 or TTL level control interfaces.
With a compact 50 × 50 mm footprint, this board is ideal for OEM camera integration, surveillance systems, robotics platforms, UAV imaging systems, and broadcast equipment that require reliable HD-SDI output from Sony block cameras.
