The Sony XCG-CG40 is a powerful machine vision camera designed for high-speed, high-precision industrial applications. Equipped with Sony's IMX287 Pregius 1/2.9” CMOS sensor, this 0.4-megapixel camera offers a global shutter, delivering up to 300 frames per second at full resolution. The global shutter design makes it ideal for capturing fast-moving objects without motion blur, ensuring high-quality images in rapid production lines and fast-paced environments.
Measuring 29 mm x 29 mm x 42 mm and weighing only 65 grams, the XCG-CG40 fits seamlessly into space-limited setups and is an excellent replacement for CCD-equipped cameras. It inherits the mounting dimensions of Sony's XCG-C series, making it highly compatible with existing systems. Power over Ethernet (PoE) and compliance with the GigE Vision 2.0 standard allow for simplified setup and integration. Advanced features like area gain, defect correction, Look Up Table (LUT) adjustments, and a 3 x 3 filter further enhance imaging flexibility and quality.
