The Sony ILCE-6700M (ILCE6700M) delivers advanced AI-driven autofocus and image processing built around Sony’s Exmor R CMOS sensor (26MP) and BIONZ XR engine. Real-time Recognition AF with deep learning enables highly accurate subject detection and tracking across humans, animals, birds, and vehicles, even in challenging conditions or low light down to EV -3.0. With up to 759 phase detection points covering ~93% of the frame, the camera maintains fast, precise focus while capturing high-speed bursts and consistent image data in dynamic environments.
Image quality and video performance are equally strong, with 4K recording up to 60p (oversampled from 6K) and up to 120p for slow motion, supported by 10-bit 4:2:2 color and S-Log3 for advanced grading. The 5-axis in-body stabilization system compensates for shake in handheld or low-light scenarios, while flexible formats like HEIF and lossless RAW optimize storage without sacrificing detail.
