IDS UE-39B0XCP-E USB 3.0 Camera with Sony IMX636 0.92MP CMOS Sensor, 1280×720 Resolution, C-Mount, Compact IP30 Housing
The IDS UE-39B0XCP-E is a compact industrial USB 3.0 vision camera designed around the event-driven Sony IMX636 1/2.5" CMOS sensor. Unlike traditional frame-based imaging systems, this neuromorphic sensor outputs only brightness changes at the pixel level (1280 x 720 px), providing asynchronous event streams with microsecond precision. With a resolution of 0.92 megapixels and a pixel size of 4.86 µm, the IMX636 delivers exceptional light sensitivity and temporal accuracy, ideal for high-speed, dynamic environments. The optical sensor area measures 6.221 mm × 3.499 mm, and the camera connects via a high-speed USB 3.0 interface (5 Gbps), ensuring minimal latency during data transmission.
Encased in a compact 29 × 29 × 17 mm IP30-rated housing with a lockable USB Micro-B connector, the camera supports standard C-mount lenses. Software integration is streamlined using the Prophesee Metavision SDK and IDS HAL plugin for rapid deployment in machine vision systems. Imaging and sensor functions include software/hardware triggering, auto exposure, auto gain, long exposure, LUT, gamma correction, pixel binning, decimation, ROI, and mirror/flip. This makes the UE-39B0XCP-E well-suited for robotics, visual tracking, sports motion analysis, industrial inspection, and intelligent traffic systems (ITS).
