NI PCI-8252 and NI PXI-8252 IEEE 1394 Interface Devices




The National Instruments PCI-8252 and PXI-8252 are IEEE 1394a interface devices for PCI and PXI/CompactPCI. Both are OHCI v1.0 compliant and operate natively in Windows 2000, XP, Me, and 98. The IEEE 1394a standard, with up to 400 Mb/s of bandwidth, is ideal for high-data-rate applications such as machine vision. The PXI module can be purchased with or without NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 software, used for acquiring images from IEEE 1394 cameras.
